Our team had the honor of presenting to the Kansas State Board of Education. We focused our message on the realities we’ve seen in classrooms in our travels across the state. We brought the voices of students and teachers with us, reminding our board of what’s happening on the ground. Our goal was to keep students at the center, while also shining a light on the issues that often go unseen. The response of the board was very positive, and it was a powerful reminder to us all of why we do this work. It was a great day to be an advocate for public education!

Kansas LEADS is a Conference for teachers to come and meet each other, hear inspiring words, and learn new teaching techniques! The team was there with approximately 200 other teachers. This was a great team-building day and learning opportunity for all who attended. We are glad we had the opportunity to present to this group and then listen to the other great presenters as well.
